É considerado de origem norte-americano, essa pratica não é considerado um meio de cultura por lá, cerca de quinze países, já proíbem essas práticas em seu território.
Aqui no Brasil, como muitos pensam o rodeio, também nada tem de cultura, já que é uma cópia norte-americana
Os animais de rodeios sofrem de maus-tratos constantes, embaixo do nosso nariz e não fazemos nada para combater esta dor e sofrimento seguido de humilhação.
Um grande exemplo é o rodeio de Barretos, que acontece de 21 a 31 de agosto, considerado o maior do Brasil, com uma estrutura milionária de R$ 200 milhões. Atraindo cerca de 1,2 milhões de turistas e com uma infra-estrutura enorme como áreas de lazer, shows com os melhores artistas do momento. Com dois milhões de metros quadrados.
O publico alvo seria a classe média alta de São Paulo e turistas de vários países.
Diante de tudo isso quem poderia se atreve a defender esses animais?

Eu me pergunto como essa multidão de pessoas na arquibancada, podem e aplaudir um homem que para eles é considerado um herói, quando monta em um cavalo que entra na arena, pulando, assustado e com dor, pois o sedém um equipamento utilizados em rodeios esta rasgando seu couro e cortando seus músculos chegando aos órgãos.
Pessoal como vocês podem esses são os órgãos do cavalo para fora..não tenho informações do que ocorreu..mas foi um corte bem grande..pelo que vejo.
Até mesmo um bezerro com poucos dias de vida colocado em uma arena, imagino que fica se perguntando, o que fez para estar ali?
