Uma rua fechada, bombeiros e muita confusão. Tudo isso aconteceu na segunda-feira (12), e envolveu Rute Maria de Farias, 41, disse ter sido surpreendida por um oficial de justiça que lhe entregou uma ordem de despejo. Ela mora em Abreu e Lima (PE), no fundo de uma igreja. A cidade tem 94 mil habitantes e fica a 16 km de Recife.Rute disse que o terreno no qual a sua casa e igreja foram construídas é um dos cincos doados pelo seu pai à Assembleia de Deus. Ela reconheceu que, por lei, o terreno pertence à igreja, mas ainda assim esperava um mínimo de consideração do pastor José Aílton Alves porque se trata de um homem de Deus.
“Sei que meu pai doou o terreno, mas não acreditava que o pastor Aílton fosse tirar a gente sem arrumar outro lugar”, disse. Rute está desempregada e com ela mora uma irmã, que não quis ter o seu nome divulgado. Ela afirmou que o pastor chegou a prometer R$ 15 mil para que encontrasse outro lugar para morar, o que não ocorreu.
A Assembleia de Deus divulgou que comprou o terreno, não sendo, portanto, uma doação de João José de Farias, o pai. Mas não conseguiu explicar por que Rute mora ali há 22 anos.
Ela conseguiu chamar a atenção da imprensa para o seu caso com uma manifestação. Com ajuda de vizinhos e primas, fez uma fogueira de pneus defronte à igreja.
Rute contou que seu pai era violento, de dar surras nos 12 filhos, mas era muito religioso, e o pastor se aproveitou disso para induzi-lo a doar os terrenos. Farias morreu há 17 anos e a sua mulher, há 9.
A igreja está tentando colocar as mulheres fora dali desde 2005, quando começaram a ser expedidas as primeiras ordens de despejo.
Rute disse não saber disso porque, como estava trabalhando, quem recebia o oficial de justiça era um irmão portador de deficiência mental que morava com ela. E ele, afirmou, nunca lhe entregou nenhuma ordem de despejo nem falou a respeito.
A Assembléia de Deus fez um pronunciamento sobre o protesto através de nota oficial. Confira na íntegra, o que diz o documento:
“A Igreja Evangélica Assembleia de Deus impetrou uma Ação no ano de 2005, tendo como objeto o imóvel de sua propriedade, comprado através de escritura pública em 1972, localizado na Rua Boa Esperança, 141, São José, nesta cidade do Recife, onde funciona regularmente um templo que atende a comunidade há mais de duas décadas.
A intervenção judicial foi pedida após a Igreja buscar manter por diversas vezes entendimento com o ocupante no sentido de não causar transtornos de qualquer espécie, restando, entretanto, inexitosos todos os esforços empreendidos.
A Igreja esclarece que o pedido foi todo fundamentado em documentos, e que a procura do Poder Judiciário se deu para que a Justiça, de forma isenta, se pronunciasse acerca dos direitos das partes envolvidas”.
