Na lição «Depois da Morte...», aprendemos que quando uma pessoa morre, entra num estado que a Bíblia compara ao sono, um estado de total inconsciência, até o dia da ressurreição.
Já que essa pessoa não consegue nos ouvir, é inútil tentar comunicar-se com ela.

Portanto, o fenômeno da casa mal assombrada não pode ser explicado pelo retorno dos moradores que já faleceram.
Como os mortos repousam inconscientes no túmulo, deve haver outro poder que realiza os vários fenômenos ocultistas, como acontece, por exemplo, em sessões espíritas nas quais os mortos ou espíritos são invocados.
Qual é esse poder?

O espiritismo tem sido uma de suas armas mais eficientes para alcançar esse objetivo.

A primeira mentira de Satanás para a humanidade foi declarar que os seres humanos eram imortais.
Atualmente, essa mesmíssima mentira engana milhões de pessoas, fazendo-as acreditar que os falecidos não estão mortos de fato, mas, pelo contrário, estão mais vivos do que nunca e sempre prontos a se comunicar com elas!

E perguntou Saul ao SENHOR, porém o SENHOR lhe não respondeu, nem por sonhos, nem por Urim, nem por profetas.
Então, disse Saul aos seus criados:

O exemplo da consulta de Saul à feiticeira de Endor ilustra perfeitamente como Satanás pode nos enganar por meio do espiritismo.
Como o profeta Samuel estava morto e Deus guardava silêncio, o rei Saul decidiu desobedecê-Lo, tentando comunicar-se com o profeta falecido.
Agora, os versículos a seguir irão nos mostrar que Saul se comunicou com Satanás, não com Samuel.

Antes de qualquer coisa, lembremos o claro ensinamento da Palavra de Deus: os mortos encontram-se em estado de inconsciência total e, portanto, é impossível fazê-los subir para que se comuniquem conosco.

Porém, Satanás tenta fazer com que acreditemos no contrário, como fez nesse caso, personificando o profeta Samuel.

Muitas vezes, Satanás tenta fazer com que acreditemos que a nossa situação não tem mais jeito e Deus se tornou nosso inimigo.
Não nos deixemos enganar por essa mentira.

Assim, morreu Saul por causa da sua transgressão com que transgrediu contra o SENHOR, por causa da palavra do SENHOR, a qual não havia guardado; e também porque buscou a adivinhadora para a consultar.

Infelizmente, Saul não se arrependeu dessa desobediência.
Morreu acreditando que Deus tinha se tornado seu inimigo, enganado pelo ensinamento de Satanás, o verdadeiro inimigo, que havia personificado o falecido profeta Samuel, para enganá-lo com mais eficiência.

The example of Saul consulting the witch of Endor perfectly illustrates how Satan can deceive us through spiritualism.
As the prophet Samuel was dead, and God was silent, King Saul decided to disobey Him, trying to communicate with the dead prophet.

The witch described the vision as "gods who rose from the earth." However, the prophet Samuel did not accept being called "god".
However, Satan - "the god of this world" - well tolerates this title ...

However, Satan can impersonate the dead very easily in order to deceive us.

God is our friend - not our enemy - and is always willing to forgive anyone who sincerely repent of their sins.
But Satan tries to make us believe otherwise, as he did in this case, personifying the prophet Samuel.

Here we do not trust His servants and His angels is crazy, how much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, and are injured as a moth! "

Many times Satan tries to make us believe that our situation is hopeless, and God has become our enemy.
Let us not be deceived by this lie.

And did not seek the LORD.

Unfortunately, Saul did not repent of his disobedience.
He died believing that God had become his enemy, deceived by the teachings of Satan, the real enemy, who had impersonated the deceased prophet Samuel, to deceive you with more efficiency.

Satan will even use people who claim to perform miracles in Jesus' name, but you can recognize them because of their rebellion against God's will.

If Satan can get away from this precious book, which will fall into their traps.

The act of trying to communicate with the dead puts us in enemy territory and, therefore, leaves us in danger of being deceived.
Even the act of praying for the dead (saints, a deceased friend, etc.). Is not only useless but also dangerous.

Our Father
The end of all things comes, and we know that the enemy will multiply their mistakes, among which are spiritualism and the occult, to keep us from the Lord.
But the Lord has given us His Word to be a reliable guide, which reveals the wiles of the devil and warns us about them.
Please give us the Holy Spirit to remind us when you need it, the valuable lessons we learned today.
