O altar virou palco de show, quando não, palanque político. O louvor de adoração a Deus se transformou em músicas extravagantes, usando o seu santo nome em vão, e principalmente com fins comerciais. As pregações giram em torno das prosperidades materiais, mas o propósito principal do sacrifício de Cristo na cruz, a sua Graça e a oferta da vida eterna estão subjugados, são coisas em segundo plano.
Mas igreja séria, compromissada com o Evangelho de Cristo, que espera pela sua vinda, precisa acabar de vez com essa doutrina de hipocrisia criada pelo homem, induzindo os mais fracos ao erro, iludindo-os a servir a Deus só pela recompensa das bênçãos materiais. Os fracos na fé esperam pelo deleite do Reino de Deus aqui na terra, mas o próprio Senhor Jesus afirmou: O meu Reino não é deste mundo (João 18.36).
A igreja precisa voltar a ser de Cristo; precisa de crescimento espiritual, amadurecimento na sã doutrina, e reconhecer que a bênção do Senhor não se compra com dízimos e ofertas, os quais hoje, estão mais poderosos do que Deus Pai e Jesus Cristo, dentro da igreja. É conveniente ressaltar que Deus é Espírito, e importa que os verdadeiros adoradores o adorem em espírito e em verdade.
Amados, é hora de sair da penumbra e acordar para a vida em Cristo, pelo que diz a palavra do Senhor na carta de Paulo aos Efésios 5.14: Desperta, tu que dormes, e levanta-te dentre os mortos, e Cristo te esclarecerá. A palavra alerta: Existem muitos crentes dormindo dentre os mortos, participando da idolatria e vivendo como os gentios na abundância do pecado.
A IDOLATRIA VIRTUAL
Na antiguidade, era mais fácil identificar a idolatria, porque desde o princípio o Senhor já repugnava a criação de imagens (Êxodos 20). Porem, com o mundo moderno, satanás tem criado outros artifícios que induz sutilmente o homem à idolatria, inclusive de forma virtual. E uma das mais fortes é a televisão, quando usada de forma incorreta, traz uma avalanche de maldição para dentro da casa do servo de Deus. Por ela entram na sua casa os filmes, as novelas e outros programas que na maioria das vezes vem recheados de pornografia, violência e outras devassidões abomináveis aos mandamentos de Deus.
Até mesmo o esporte, com aparência inócua e saudável, mas por trás de tudo isso há um violento conteúdo de idolatria. Um dos exemplos inconfundível é o futebol, onde há um verdadeiro satanismo, principalmente nos bastidores dos grandes clubes. E isso é uma coisa pública, constantemente a imprensa divulga os trabalhos realizados pelos feiticeiros chamados “pai de santo” dentro dos clubes.
As rezas dos jogadores, as promessas dos torcedores, a violência que assola dentro e fora dos estádios, onde muitos já perderam até a própria vida. É bom lembrar, que essas coisas acontecem não só no futebol, mas na maioria dos esportes há idolatria, perversidade, contenda e tragédia.
Perguntamos então, qual a razão que leva o homem que tem compromisso Deus, a se envolver nessa aberração? Porque o crente tem que participar dessa atividade mundana, torcer por um time e ter os jogadores como verdadeiros ídolos?
A carta aos Romanos 1. 22-25 diz: Os sábios, tornaram-se loucos. E mudaram a glória do Deus incorruptível em semelhança da imagem de homem corruptível.
Pelo que também Deus os entregou às concupiscências do seu coração, à imundícia, para desonrarem o seu corpo entre si; pois mudaram a verdade de Deus em mentira e honraram e serviram mais a criatura do que o Criador, que é bendito eternamente. Amém!
A palavra do Senhor, condena a prática esportiva que o homem tanta ama, vamos meditar:
I Coríntios 9.25: Todo aquele que luta de tudo se abstém; eles o fazem para alcançar uma coroa corruptível, nós, porém, uma incorruptível.
Gálatas 5.19-20: Porque as obras da carne são manifestas, as quais são: prostituição, impureza, lascívia, idolatria, feitiçarias, inimizades, porfias, emulações, iras, pelejas, dissensões, heresias.
Uma pausa para conhecermos o significado da palavra EMULAÇÃO:
Do latim aemulatione. Sentimento que incita a igualar ou superar outrem. Competição, rivalidade, concorrência. Estímulo, incentivo. Adjetivos que fogem do perfil dos que amam a Deus em Espírito e em Verdade.
A nossa preocupação, é a infiltração dessa idolatria no coração dos pregadores e líderes das igrejas. O futebol, e o esporte num todo, está sendo praticado e cultuado até mesmo dentro de muitas igrejas denominacionais. Mas, pelo menos teoricamente, essa casa foi criada para oração e adoração ao Senhor. No Antigo Testamento o Templo (hoje nós somos a igreja de Cristo) lugar de adoração a Deus, entretanto, hoje muitas igrejas denominadas que se dizem “evangélicas”, trazem a idolatria dissimulada no conteúdo da sua doutrina, tanto quanto o paganismo das religiões descompromissadas com Deus.
Um dos exemplos, é o uso da imagem da cruz, a silhueta do pombinho, o castiçal com ramificação (candelabro) para uso de velas, folhetos ilustrados, etc. Criaram até um peixe como símbolo do crente. E no livro de Êxodo 20.4, disse o Senhor: Não farás para ti imagem de escultura, nem alguma semelhança do que há em cima nos céus, nem em baixo na terra, nem nas águas debaixo da terra.
Alem disso ainda há outras espécies de armadilhas que o crente está sujeito. A tecnologia virtual, como filmes, jogos eletrônicos, celulares, internet e outras astúcias oferecidas pela tecnologia cibernética. Não condenamos o uso da ciência, porque ela também traz muitos benefícios ao homem, mas “o mau uso” desses instrumentos no meio evangélico, é complexo e ameaçador.
Mas não é só isso, outra ameaça iminente são os costumes do mundo, que os líderes têm introduzido na igreja sob pretexto de evangelização. O que há de mais moderno hoje nas igrejas é o mundo gospel, como a música, que apesar de usar sempre o nome do Senhor é produzido com fins lucrativos, às danças coreográficas, às vezes procedidas de escândalos, os teatros, e até desfile para concurso de beleza feminina tem sido praticado por algumas igrejas institucionais.
A palavra do Senhor na primeira Carta de Paulo aos Coríntios 6.12, alerta: Todas as coisas me são lícitas, mas nem todas as coisas convêm; todas as coisas me são lícitas, mas eu não me deixarei dominar por nenhuma.
Isso nos leva a refletir e a indagar: Quem será edificado com essas coisas mundanas na Igreja? Isso tem sido praticado para exaltar o reino de quem? Porque o Senhor nosso Deus, que criou o céu e a terra, certamente não se agrada dessa perversidade, visto que são atos abomináveis aos olhos do Senhor nosso Deus.
Observe que no princípio da Igreja Primitiva, houve uma verdadeira revolução, entres os povos pelo poder de Deus. Judeus e gentios se convertiam, milhares de pessoas se agregavam a doutrina de Cristo todos os dias. Curas, libertações, milagres e maravilhas aconteciam freqüentemente, o derramar do Espírito Santo era abundante entre os irmãos, havia virtudes até na sombra dos Apóstolos.
Mas com o decorrer do tempo, o homem colocou uma placa na porta da estrutura material que eles chamam de “igreja”, e começaram a arrecadar, e a torcer a verdade de Cristo em mentira, e hoje a igreja de Cristo, que teoricamente seria fonte de benção e adoração, chegou ao ponto que está, totalmente materializada, afastada da presença de Cristo e da busca pela salvação da vida eterna, onde prioridade é a prosperidade material. Lamentavelmente, muitas igrejas que se identificam como evangélicas estão no divã, caminhando na contra mão do Evangelho do Senhor Jesus.
Mas isso é o cumprimento da palavra, os homens santos de Deus, divinamente inspirados pelo Espírito Santo já advertia a igreja sobre essas coisas que haveriam de acontecer. O Apóstolo Pedro, compelido pelo Espírito Santo, declarou:
II Pedro 2.1-3: Houve entre o povo falsos profetas, como entre vós haverá também falsos doutores, que introduzirão encobertamente heresias de perdição e negarão o Senhor que os resgatou, trazendo sobre si mesmos repentina perdição.
E, por avareza, farão comércio de vós com palavras fingidas; sobre os quais já de longo tempo não será tardia a sentença, e a sua perdição não dorme.
A palavra na carta aos Efésios 5.6 a 12, exorta: Ninguém vos engane com palavras vãs; porque por essas coisas vem à ira de Deus sobre os filhos da desobediência. Portanto, não sejais seus companheiros.
Porque, noutro tempo, éreis trevas, mas, agora, sois luz no Senhor; andai como filhos da luz, aprovando o que é agradável ao Senhor.
E não comuniqueis com as obras infrutuosas das trevas, mas, antes, condenai-as. Porque o que eles fazem em oculto, até dizê-lo é torpe.
Mas a IGREJA PRIMITIVA DE CRISTO está viva, e não nos convém permanecer calado, como também não podemos nos conformar com os descompromissados com a verdade, que usam o Evangelho de Cristo em vão, porque a Palavra em João 8.32, diz: Conhecereis a verdade, e a verdade vos libertará.
Portanto amados, não é oportuno dizer o amem para tudo que ouvir, sem antes examinar a verdade na palavra do Senhor, para que não sejais aliciados e vencidos pelo espírito do engano, porque no grande e terrível dia do Senhor, certamente, Ele não terá o culpado por inocente, porque Ele é justo e julgará com justiça, cada segundo as suas obras.
Deus seja louvado, e o seu amado Filho glorificado.
